Mothers Matter is an initiative that donates our high-quality baby changing mats to women and children arriving at emergency shelters and refuges.
We use the Women's Aid Directory to find a service that's in need, to donate to.
We feel passionately about supporting women [and mothers in particular] throughout all life's challenges. Walking into a refuge or emergency shelter with a baby is a vulnerable moment that requires care, comfort and dignity.
Mothers who arrive at these shelters often only have the clothes on their backs and their baby in their arms. We wanted to step in with something practical that also feels personal, and gives mum a tiny moment of breathing room where she knows 'I've got you.'
We want every mother walking through those doors to know she's seen, she's supported, and she and her baby deserve the absolute best while they figure out their next steps.
For every 10 sales of our changing mats, we donate a mat to a women's refuge shelter.
